Re: Ove Decors 60-Inch Premium Rolling Tub Door

This is a beautiful door but I must agree the instructions to install this door is a joke and the diagrams are horrible. My main issue is Step E 1. I am suppose to drill holes into the B rail (metal) and attach that into panel "C". Am I suppose to drill through the metal rail and the 8mm glass? I hardly call this type of work an easy installation as the box cover said.
If anyone has installed this and knows the answer please let me know as I am not sure about drilling into a giant glass panel.
Thanks

I got hold of Andre at OVE who was very helpful. Do not drill into the glass as that is not what the instructions on page 13 mean. Basically you should have a gap of .5 inch from the very back edge of the glass to the inner back of the B rail. Meaning do not push the glass fully into the B rail(looking at diagram O page 13 you will see the gap). Having left the gap, drill the holes and put the screws into the back of the glass to avoid it from moving backwards.
I am not sure why one needs to leave a gap and then put those screws in since shoving that glass all the way will stop it from moving back but that is what I was told by the manufacturer rep. Drill the holes from the inside (standing in the tub) and do not have your drill go through the B rail- the holes should be only on one side which is the inner side of the B rail.
Hope this helps those whom may have had the same question.

The upper horizontal bar would have to be cut shorter if necessary. Do not cut on the side that has the hole and goes to the fixed panel. Only cut on the side that goes to the panel that moves. Hope this helps.

Bought four of those at costco. Two of them are flashing at one second intervals. Going to return the flashing lights back, have no use for it.

I've found the motion sensors unreliable. The motion sensor on one of the 2 lights does not work at all any longer but the light still works using the ON switch. Any similar experience or suggestions?

I love them - or should say "Loved" them. One went out on me after 2 months. Figuring it was a fluke, I returned and exchanged it. They have me one that is slighty different - instead of like 7 LED's around the perimeter it has like 9 LED's in the center. However, since they both look the same hanging there, I did not object. Unfortunately, during a slight rainstorm 3 nights ago - two MORE went out. I will be contacting the company for some advice, but if they can't resolve it for me, I'll be returning all 5 of mine. LOVE everything else about them.

I had a chance to sample mrs mays veggie crisps at the Livermore location today. Omg, these are delicious. I bought 3 bags because I wanted to have enough for us and houseguests this week. I would've bought more if they weren't priced @ $7+ per bag. These are literally veggies crisped up without frying them. Not the same as snappea where peas are mixed with rice powder. Love these, please review them if you get a chance do people find out how good they are and costco keeps them around for a while.

hi Akansha,
We sampled the Mrs. May's Veggie Chips last week and like you said, they were good. It took a few days to get around to writing the post and just so happen, we had scheduled it to be published today. What a coincidence!

hello hawkeye22407,
Seems like there may be a reliability issue with these lanterns, which is a shame as they do look nice. Thanks for sharing your experience,

hi Joe,
We haven't tried these but would have expected better reliability from Duracell. Good that Costco has a great return policy.

My mother purchased this the last time we were at Costco's and she absolutely loves watching it on windy days in her yard. She now wants to buy a few for her sisters.

Just discovered your website. Also a new member @ Costco. I noticed of course the difference in
price and product between warehouse and limited costco.com. I am a single retired guy and wondered how my membership costs would be supported as I do not use large
amounts of things. I have spent maybe 6-8 hours in the warehouse since joining two weeks ago without even going to the food side. I have found lots of things to spend my money on and have done comparisons of the items I buy and the items they sell and I actually feel good about the membership costs and that really surprises me. I have never used a coupon. They seem to have a plan and work the plan. My Costco is a zoo. Filled with people racing around filling their needs. Adding respite for
the weary shopper the food stand awaits you as you leave the building. I am sold on the experience and value. I will be a frequent reader here. Thanks.
