I bought this a few weeks ago. It supports heavy people. Seems to be made really well for $400. Leather seems to be high quailty. I like the chair but I do not like the sticky feel of leather on a recliner. Leather is great covering a regular chair bottom, and on belts, saddles, and etc It looks really nice. Recliner is very stable. When I have time I am having a cover made for it covering the arms and area I touch. I will mention if you have issues with your hips you will need to be patient when leaning how to make it do what you want when you are ready to get out of the chair. I actually freaked out the first time, after about 10 days its much easier. It's a buy.
