We've one of those planters in our garage, still empty, so I took a look at it. There's no number printed inside or out. But it does say High Density Resin. I think it's ok for growing food. You can call the manufacturer, Southern Patio, to confirm if you like. Their phone number is listed on their website: southernpatio.com
