Canola oil is like $1.27 for 1.5 quarts at all the Aldi's near me. It’s really a no-brainer to purchase at Aldi whether you can use it all in one year or not. Safeway (Randall’s around here) is a straight up ripoff and I’ve never seen it anywhere close to being cheap for anything. There’s a reason why they hardly have any stores in Texas, they’re just too expensive compared to Kroger, HEB, Aldi, and all the local grocery chains. The only reason why they dominate in the areas where they do is because the bougie shoppers in those areas go to Whole Foods or do grocery delivery and don’t care about price.
