I actually like the protein bar coupons, or Fiber Ones and things like that. I tend to rarely have time for lunch or work breaks, and those things are perfect to pack for a quick fairly healthy snack (I do fruits too, but quick fiber and protein fixes I get from things like this). They did have Protein bars on coupons a couple months ago and also protein drinks, but the Fiber Ones that I stock up on haven't been on sale in a bit. Costco always has a lot of candies, cookies, fatty foods (like lasagna) and the like on coupons, but they seem to not offer the healthier alternatives out there so much. I know there are sometimes offers in store that you don't see here, but as the stores are a bit out of my way I prefer to have a specific reason to make the trip. I've been a member for all my adult life but I feel they've recently been dropping a few products that I liked or not offering the coupons I liked as frequently, which has me finding alternative products or suppliers (many online, but NOT amazon) and is thus cutting back on my trips. Also have become adept at making my own strange healthy concoctions that are tasty and that I can pack. The card is still worth the cost but whereas I used to peruse the coupon books and usually find a good 6 to 8 things I wanted, lately I am lucky to find 2 or 3. In this book it's sadly zero - with a bit of luck Nov will be good because I wont go near almost any store in December except for milk, eggs, and a couple fruits.
