We haven't bought this couch yet so I can't comment on this particular one, but we had a Costco couch before and it held up amazingly with kids and animals. Had it about 6 years before selling and it was still like new. Only sold it because it didn't work with the layout of the new house and haven't found new furniture that can compare to the quality. We've bought two much more expensive sets from regular furniture stores and they're all falling apart after 6mo to a year. We are buying from Costco again and hopefully won't have to replace it for a long time. Plus you can't beat the return policy.
