I have the Vitamix 5300 shown in the picture. We purchased it from Costco last year.This is my first Vitamix and it's definitely way more powerful than my previous blender. It pulverizes ice and everything. I make smoothies with spinach, carrots, cucumber, frozen pineapple, bananas, blueberries, and it comes out completely smooth, no big chunks of vegetable, fruit or ice. My previous blender could not do that. I initially balked at the price but I don't anymore :)
