This jacket is NOT waterproof. It's barely water resistant. I recently used mine in a light rain that turned into a medium rain. After about 20 minutes that jacket absorbed the water which seeped inside and I was soaked inside and out. I tried it one more time in a light rain/mist and after 15min, the jacket was soaked inside and out. I do not recommend this if you plan on using it in rainy conditions.
