Simply, the refrigerated Boudin Clam Chowder from Costco is - by far - the worst Clam Chowder I have ever had.
It has no detectable clam flavor at all and tastes badly of cheap herbs, probably primarily tarragon.
Canned Mrs Snows Clam chowder is much, much better and I barely consider it a reasonable choice.
The only thing it had going for it was that it did not taste as though it was spoiled, however judging by the extensive list of preservatives, that may not be possible.
I place this review here so that interested people might find it, neither Costco nor Boudin have any place to review this product, as far as I am concerned, you now know why.
