The one per household is really 1 per checkout. So you could purchase, place item in your car, return to Costco and checkout/purchase the same item again. I used to think that 1 per household meant 1 per the entire length of the coupon book period. One day, I asked the cashier why that is and she told me what it really meant. That was many years ago. I assume it's still the same policy today.
