Our old microwave died from over use so I went shopping for a new one. Nothing fancy, nothing too big but it had to have power (>1000W)
I was skeptical buying one because the door on the model on display seemed hard to close, but I decided I could live with it,
Once I got it home, I found it not to be a problem for the one I had ;-).
As far as power - WOW! our old 1100 watt oven must have been dying for a while!
Setting the clock was a challenge at first though - But once I read the instructions, all was good. Auto reheat, defrost and auto cook also require READING THE INSTRUCTIONS, but with the variable power feature they really work very well.
The only down side I can see is that the fan noise is a little louder (not extreme).
My wife is more critical and her complaints are:
It has an add a minute button vs a half minute (because it heats things too much on a minute)
The stainless shows finger prints.
Given the price and features, I can live with the "problems"
