So far it feels very sturdy. You don't have to put anything together yourself so it is unlike Walmart products that frequently have issues because someone carelessly drilled the hole in the wrong spot and you are having to compensate for that error when putting things together. We've only had ours for a day but had quite a nice nap on it and tested all of the moving parts multiple times (they all seem quality). Plus there is the Costco warranty which has been awesome for us with past items if there has been an issue.
