This is a rugged container very few plastic remain flexable at 16 degrees and do not shatter when dropped or hit .... I use these for meat storage at 16 F .They also at sold at Ace for 17.99 locally, how ever other Ace store have them for 15.99 , our Ace store owner over prices everything and has helped block attempts to get Costco and Home Depot in the area with protests.
We just got a Costco in here , thank god for that and Hopefully we can get Home Depot in too and put out the hold that his family has had on this area for 50 years.
THe Humboldt County California area will be for the better when that happens. I recommend this container to anyone that wants a strong sturdy container that WILL allow stacking of heavy items with no container collapse. This is the BEST container made so far and I have tried about 8 different brands. I have put 40 lbs of meat inside and even 50lbs and stacked them 7 high with no issues at all.
Lids stay level and flat on the bottom container and do not get warped like cheaper or even more expensive brands do....
